Quite frankly, in higher education it can be challenging to ensure an institutions best qualities shine through — details of consistent language and information architecture are often seen as afterthoughts. Creating a readable experience is often given second priority to appearing "academic". Uniform portraits are seen as a nuisance, and scoffed at by faculty.
