Sometimes we don’t even have to try harder, sometimes we just need to try.
We live in a push button world for so many things, and yet—some people don’t even try to exhibit resourcefulness.

Just stop and think. Please.

Just stop and think. Please.
Here are some things to try:
- Try to learn how something works— don’t just muddle through it.
- Try to better yourself—stop waiting for someone on high to come tell you a better way to do things.
- Try driving another way than Broadway to get downtown—don’t try to turn my neighborhood into a freeway.
- Try to Search for the answer on Google—don’t just go ask a “computer guy.”
- Try to turn it off and turn it back on again—don’t just assume you’ve got a virus.
- Try waiting for it to finish— or try pushing the button again—unless it’s the print button.
- Try refreshing the screen—don’t assume the website is down.
Some people don’t try to solve problems for themselves and expect others to solve their problems. They’re not incapable, they just don’t want to go to the mental effort of trying. It’s the mental effort that really hurts. It’s a real hurdle for some people to engage the cogs of their brain.
It has never been easier to try.
