In an interview, I was once asked if I multi-task well. My response:

“No, and I don’t think anyone else does either.”

But I can shut everything off, pick up one thing at a time, and do what has to be done right now. At times I’ve juggled 40 projects in a 10 day turnaround environment.

That’s not multi-tasking. That’s focused diligence.
